With over twelve years of experience, Ricardo Ovelar has worked in three different countries across the Americas (Paraguay, Argentina and USA) for brands like Nike, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Target, California Milk Processor Board and Doritos, among many others.
For the past seven years he’s been working as an Interactive Art Director in agencies like BBDO Argentina, Grey/G2 Argentina, Grupo Gallegos - USA and Space Balloon - USA, showcasing a special interest in innovative campaigns, where technology is at the service of people and ideas, and not in their way.
At the beginning of 2014 he started a branding consultancy studio called Puente, that helps small companies with a strong social responsability to compete against the big guys. One of the first projects by Puente was help launch and develop Campuka, an organization that creates activities for kids with serious illnesses in Paraguay, creating awareness about its mission and goals.
With over fifty advertising awards during his career, his work has been recognized in major advertising festivals, including Cannes, Clio, Webby Awards, New York Festival, El Sol, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Diente and Wave Festival.
